Florence Nightingale’s London Walking Tour

Walk in the footsteps of the ‘mother of nursing’ and discover the life of Florence Nightingale through the places where she lived and worked. From the house where she spent the last days of her long life, the hotel where she wrote her famous Notes on Nursing, the shops where she made some of her purchases, to the statue of the Lady with the Lamp. Along the way, we take a look at her life and visit London as she knew it.
This walk lasts approximately 2 hours, and will be conducted at a reasonable walking pace so please wear appropriate footwear.
Tickets: £16 per person - Walking Tour Only ; £25 per person - Walking Tour + Museum Visit

Well when you join us for a special topics talk, you can! This month's talk will be given on a surgical box on display in the museum. It is here on loan from our friends at the Hunterian Museum!
Discover the intriguing history of this Victorian Era case, how it connects to Florence Nightingale, and learn about the medical practices of the Crimean War!
Talks will be given by a member of the Florence Nightingale Team and are included in all general admission tickets!
Talks will be held at 2:30pm and 3:30pm and will last approximately 30 minutes.

Join the Florence Nightingale Museum for a special performance of Meet Miss Nightingale!
Learn the story of Florence Nightingale in her own words. Discover how she earned her famous nickname ‘Lady with the Lamp’ and all about her contributions to the nursing and maths fields.
Discover the remarkable story of this historical icon and then explore the museum itself, which houses many of her actual historical artifacts!
These performances are free with admission and last approximately 30 minutes.
Performances are at 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm and tickets can be purchased online or in person.
